karneol_vision who talked me into doing this. ;)Now, I know these two may seem unlikely at first glance. They may play for the same club but how can that work. The beauty and the beast. And then there was The Incident at the WC when Rooney got sent off the pitch with a red card and the whole of England blamed Cristiano for it who allegedly asked for it. Btw, the commentators on this clip really pi** me off because Wayne Rooney admitted that he asked for a card for Cristiano just minutes before he stepped on Carvalho...
Anyway, they kissed and made up and everything is fine now. Don't believe me?
Obviously it all started before that fateful match during the WC. Back when they used to hug so very adorable...
...and goof around with the best of them...
But of course, those were they days when Ruud still played for ManU and those three liked to form pretty manpiles...
Things seemed to be a bit tense after the WC...
But when even tv chanels do romantic videos about them having to make up again...
...how could they not.
Watch them on the bus to the match against Benfica this autumn. Wayne doesn't look happy until he's sitting right beside Cristiano.

Because - eep! - Wayne's actually kissing Cristiano. Right on the nape!
Wayne's even trying to show what he learned from Cristiano and Cristiano - he looks all indulgent and happy and flattered and okay, amused.

Cristiano is a bit smaller compared to Wayne when he should be a bit taller and most of all the space between Cristiano's arms and his head - grey. No, really, I have this vision of them meeting up after the WC in training and blowing up with little things. And Gary and the other boys are holding them apart but finally they clash and it's very physical and all... Now, if I could just write that down... :(

It certainyl seems like it. And I'm so very suprised because I was reactions like 'Uh, totally not seeing it!' and not 'Oh, bad timing. I've been thinking about them the last few days'... What can I say? There's just no resisting the Cristyne!

+ that sky sports video is one of the best. i was so amused that a station actually made that video, as in looked for clips to fit the lyrics and showed moments between the two of them.

Really - you know the feeling when you look at something and you breathe in air through your nose because your lips are pressed together in a smile... Yeah, it's like - being really proud. I feel so emotional, like a loving mother - or aunt for that matter - watching a kid taking its first serious steps and being admired and cheered at by relatives *sigh*

Oh, and now I feel kind of loaded too and very in love with it all. Aw at the pics, aw at the kissing, aw at the vids and interviews. I couldn't believe that what you call the romantic video is actual TV; I kept thinking 'surely this is a fannish compilation' but no, argh, it seems to have been aired in The Real World! *is stunned* It's like a love ode! I was thinking the same. But no, 'real' journalists put it together. And under every second Cristyne picture printed somewhere youc an read things like 'They kissed and made up' or 'Happy together again'. It's amazing.
